Division Description:
The Baltimore Division is a fully equipped corrugated manufacturer dedicated to providing the lowest overall total costs to our customers.
Position Overview:
The Sales Account Manager/Representative must be able to provide on-site support as needed (3-5 times/week) to Greenbay's customer base in the Hunt Valley, MD and surrounding region. Under general direction from the Director of Sales, this position will identify, develop, and convert new opportunities into successful business relationships as well as managing existing accounts.
Responsibilities:
  • Continual understanding of the current corrugated marketplace as it relates to general market conditions
  • Provide information, process requests for samples and price quotations to customers utilizing general and on-line commerce methods
  • Hunt for new customers that fit the divisional business model
  • Make regular service calls on any assigned major accounts to determine level of service
  • Promote new and/or additional services and products to existing and new customers
  • Keep detailed records and verify information of existing accounts and making any changes as needed and required to maintain accuracy of data.
  • Enjoys a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ability to take initiative and confidently direct customer interactions
  • Gets satisfaction out of helping others
Qualifications:
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years outside sales experience
  • Solid work ethic comprised of high levels of self-motivation, passion, and engagement
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Commitment to outstanding customer service
  • Experienced in cold calling and successful prospect development
  • Corrugated Experience - Preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base Compensation Negotiable based on experience. Additional compensation is commission based.
  • Work expenses will be reimbursed
